Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the styles of buildings?

construction of steel buildings The "A" Series is a more traditional styled building. It has straight side walls and a pitched roof. We manufacture the "A" building in spans of 16' to 30' wide. This is an ideal building for garage, workshop and storage. We also manufacture a "high profile" model which will accommodate an oversize door. The high profile "A" Series is perfect for RV, Camper, Boat storage. Visit the "A" Model Gallery

steel building construction The "S" Series has a straight side wall and a dome shaped roof. We manufacture the "S" Series building in spans of 20' to 50' wide. Generally, if you are in a very heavy snow/wind load area, the "S" Series will be a stronger building. The "S" Series also comes in a high profile model. Visit the "S" Model Gallery

construction of steel buildings The "Q" Series is the traditional "Milirary Style Hut" that is completely half moon shaped. It is perfect for hay storage or other applications where side clearance is not that important. This is one of the strongest buildings on the market today. There's a reason the military has been using these buildings for years! Visit the "Q" Model Gallery

What About the Foundation?

Our buildings are engineered to fit in a "key-way channel" that is either formed into your monolithic concrete slab or your free-floating footer system. You do not need to pour a slab. An economical footer system may be an option for you. Basically, it's 18" wide, and 16" deep. You simply form out the channel 3½ " deep by 9" wide. Stand up your arches in the channel, and then go back in and grout the channel at a 1" slope (inside and outside) and "presto!" your building is anchored to your foundation. That's right, no drilling into concrete, no lag bolts.no hassle. In addition, your engineered drawings will provide this information in complete technical detail.

Will the building meet my snow and wind loading for my area?

Our buildings come with professionally engineered blueprints. Our engineers have to approve all building codes for each and every building before is leaves our factory. What this means to you is that your building will be approved for all your snow, wind and live loadings before it ships. We care about our customers! We absolutely will not sell you a building that will not meet your local building codes!

What if I need my building ASAP?

We have the fastest lead-time in the industry! We can usually have a building to your site within two weeks of receiving your order, sometimes less! We have our own fleet of trucks, so we can guarantee a "next-truck" delivery if you need it!

Are your buildings "turn-key" or will I have to build it myself?

Our buildings are "do-it yourself" buildings. With easy nuts & bolts construction, and depending on the size of your building, you should be able to erect your building within a few days. You don't need any special tools, just an impact wrench to bolt the arches together.
I can do it, so can you!
